How are you doiiiing? Oh my god I'm so happy to post again on this blog.

First of all, sorry for all those months of silence. Life has been a big rollercoaster. To summarize quickly: I'm gonna be graduated soon (well I hope) with my bachelor of journalism. Great news. Unfortunately due to the huge amount of work and this importance of having this diploma, I had to "give up" this blog. ;( It was so terrible. And the worse about all this, due to my exams planning, I couldn't attend the TV festival. While Jennifer Morrison and other amazing celebrities were answering interviews I was passing my exams. And truly it was heartbreaking.

Then I'm writing this message to thank you all. OMG you can't imagine how much I love you. I haven't checked the blog and even the gmail for ages (my mind was so away) and reading so many messages of people telling me how great the blog was, how they love my job, wondering if I would attend the festival this year...etc. Everything it was really beautiful. I actually read those messages last week and needed all this time to just recover. Truly thank you sooo much.

Great news even with all this work I didn't forget you. I've a lot of ideas for the blog and the festival. I'm thinking of moving the blog to wordpress, add more contents and even offer some pages to you fans of the festival. So, so many things.

I can't wait to show you all of this.

Hope you'll like it and will follow the adventures. Fingers crossed my future will let me attend the festival next year (depends on job, schedule...etc). Will see.

I miss you so much and I hope you don't hate me for my long long absence. Love y'all and see ya. Elodiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12132764721976688176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5579470588858108842.post-48751923164282910622013-08-18T07:20:00.002-07:002013-08-18T07:20:25.434-07:00HiHello everyone

I know it has been a while since the last updates but it was a busy time plus I had some computer issues and got some problems with gmail. But just wanted to let you know all is fixed now and I'm going to update the blog pretty soon. Also working on the future, thinking of the next TV festival but sshhh it's a secret.

If you have some great ideas let me know. For example, if there's something you really loved about the blog or that maybe you disliked...send me a message.

Have a great week-end :)

See ya soon.

Giancarlo Esposito: Ce
que j’aime dans le fait d’être un acteur c’est la chance de pouvoir faire l’idiot;

they did it so well in the show is that they take all these fairy tales that we all know and they twist
them a little bit so it’s slightly different not completely different just
slightly. So I’m sure the Neverland we’re gonna see in Once Upon a Time is

It’s difficult because
I’m never gonna play Captain Hook as good as Dustin Hoffman did. What you have
to do is…you have to try to make a completely different type of character. And go
to the opposite. So I try to go on the complete opposite direction to the way
people have known Hook from before. Otherwise, it’s just copying people
and it was important for me to play with my own standard.

to get accustomed of not having a second hand. So it’s difficult but you get

I think the fans like
the character which is nice; I’ve got some feedbacks from the fans. It was my

things. It’s my first time on a show and I’ve never really used twitter before.
People were tweeting me especially a lot of things about “shipping”. I didn’t
know anything about it. I was like “what?” So I discovered apparently it’s when
they put two characters together.

it’s gonna be slightly difficult. Maybe he can play slide guitar….or if he has
a fake hand at a moment.

Because it was one of the best, if not the best, scripts last pilot season. And
Shawn Ryan is an incredible showrunner. To me it was gonna to last so I was very emotional when it ended because I
brought my entire family to Hawaï where we shot. I thought we were going to
stay for a long time and of course you never know. What I learned from it is
it’s a gamble, it’s a game of dice. I was heartbroken and very sad about this
one and it is very hard. This year I looked for series that don’t shoot outside
of L.A. because it was traumatic for my family to move. So... I’m doing Necessary
Roughness. They shoot in Atlanta, but I go there for a few days and come back,
and my family doesn’t have to move. It's the same for Hawai 5-0... As far as creatively it’s
been hard for me to say no to series that I was ready to do because they’re
outside of LA, shooting in Nashville or North Carolina. It’s not just a good
time to being moving everybody again. It’s hard to juggle between personal

happy at the end of the day. I loved it! I love entertaining people, make them
laugh, make them cry…I love this relationship you have with the audience. I
love the feeling that you get from sharing a live experience with an audience.
That’s kind of what the Thrilling Adventure Hour is about. In film and
television, you’re so disconnected from the audience. This is also what I love
about social media, to really have that connection. The Thrilling Adventure
Hour allows me to get on stage in front of an audience every month. It’s
been such an amazing blessing. And I just did it for myself. Not because it
paid me any money. We started in a small diner-theater. I performed there for

for so long to get people to be able to see my work. And that show did that for
me. I loved my character. She was quirky and there wasn’t anybody like her on
television at the time. She didn’t apologize for who she was, she was
« yes I stalk you, I don’t have good social skills! ». She didn’t
have any degree of cool, and I had a lot of girls respond that they related to

which they would love to play and it so rarely actually happens. So when it
actually happened I was like “is it real?” Especially when it’s one of your

Great people.

A quick summary before I'm heading to home. Many great interviews today. First of all with the Revolution cast. Billy, Giancarlo and David. They were so nice and Giancarlo and David were so funny together. Great people.

Then it was time for Captain Hook's interview. Colin O'Donoghue is quite shy and told me about how it is to play with a hook as your hand.

In the afternoon, I had a little talk with Joshua Malina from Scandal, we talk about his DC and political "love", about Aaron Sorkin and about Shonda Rhimes.

Gabriel Mann went to see me too. Revenge, Emily but also his next movie Chavez were on the program.

But for sure you're waiting for Robin Tunney. She is really nice. She talked about Simon, the show, Red John and also said a few words for the fans.

Such a great day. You can find the pictures on our instagram :)

See ya guys later today for a new post....I'm just teasing but it'll be certainly an interview whose initials are: R.TElodiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12132764721976688176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5579470588858108842.post-38896494797069189742013-06-11T22:48:00.001-07:002013-06-11T22:51:28.786-07:00Day 4: the D-DayHey, no this isn't a remake about WWII ;) but well and truly the day Americans are arriving.

Today is THE day when all American celebrities are at the Grimaldi Forum. A beautiful day for the fans outside and for the journalists, great interviews. As for me, after waking up with a little mark caused by my notebook on my face (because I was so tired last night I felt asleep on the notebook) it is time for me to have a look at the schedule.

Stephen Amell in a press conference, Billy Burke, Giancarlo Esposito, David Lyons, Colin O'donoghue, Robin Tunney and the press conference of Dallas. The day is 100% TV shows made-in US.

(The interviews are submitted to the junkets risks. Some can be cancelled in case of huge delay and if the interviews are at the same time...unfortunately....it can happen).Elodiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12132764721976688176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5579470588858108842.post-28107639533821124222013-06-11T22:44:00.000-07:002013-06-11T22:49:43.216-07:00Jour 4: le débarquementNon ceci n'est pas un remake du programme de Canal + mais bel et bien un débarquement: d'américains.

La journée est 100% séries made-in US.

Wow thank god there’s no video of that one on
television. Yes I started as a dancer, it was odd but that was my dream you
know as an Asian-American growing up back then in the stone ages. It’s good to know everything
that you could to make it as an actor. An actor has to learn everything; he has
to learn how to sing and how to dance. That’s how they get roles. My dream was
Broadway and when I started first as an actor I went to New York and I got a
Broadway show. It was too tiring so I decided I didn’t want to sing or dance
anymore. I moved to Los Angeles and started acting. Fortunately it started with
a role in Fast and Furious, Pirates of the Caribbean and Prison Break.

in France even more than in the USA. The first time I was in Paris, I was
walking on the streets and people were asking me for photos. It had never
happened before. I was on holidays and I wasn’t expecting that. But it’s always
nice to get back to the fans. French fans are the best especially on twitter.

grimmusical. David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf [creator of the show] have guitars
and they play guitars on their spare time. They also sing. If they need a
choreographer I can do that. I can just see Sergent Wu with a little tap dance
with girls behind him just doing little routine. I would love it. Who knows?
Maybe in the Season 3? And you know Adam Shankman [director of Hairspray and
Rock of ages] is a big Grimm fan so I hope he will direct it for our show. That
would be great.

thought “that’s Sergent Wu’s moonlighting”. In Chinese Astrology it’s always
the year of the dragons or the year of the mouse. That year it was the cop
year. But before that I was always the bad guy and people know me as the guy
with the snake skin pants. Now I’m a cop and I’m enjoying being the good guy.

it’s gonna get a bit crazy….literally. I can’t tell you more.

Most of the people already know Nick’s secret
except my character. And people always ask me how do you feel about that? And I
answer “I wanna be a part of the party, please let me come in.” Everybody is
seeing monsters and I’m like “Why am I not seeing it?”. But I think there has
to be a balance between reality and supernatural in the show. With everybody
seeing it at the same time, you would never feel there would be a reality. So
it’s better if he doesn’t know and I don’t think it’s gonna to happen in the
season 3

What was your scariest

I remember this episode in season 1 when I was
eating all those things. Well, the carpet was cotton candy; I ate ChapStick which
was chocolate on the outside and gummy bears on the inside, coins which were
chocolate and paper clips which were…. paper clip. But there’s also when I had all those welts growing
on my face. It took about three hours to do that. The scariest thing was that I
had to walk to go to the set and people were staring at me. And seeing people
staring at you this way was quite scary.

There was also this Rumplestiltskin episode where people
were cut in the half. And the special effect people were so good that when you
took their hands you could see the veins and little piece of hair. So it was so
real and seeing a person cut in half was the grossest thing I’ve ever seen. I
was just excepting the bottom to stand up and just walk away while the top would
have been crawling. It’s like when you’re a kid and you think there’s a monster
in your closet. When you walk on Grimm, you really think those things are
alive.

What the difference
between shooting in LA and Portland?

3rd day at the festival and 2nd day of meeting with journalists. For me, it was a "round-table" day.

The day started with the cast of the Bold and the Beautiful, attending the festival like they do every year, to represent the soap opera which is still on tv after 26 years before they shoot some scenes in the Monte-Carlo surroundings. Then it was followed by a meeting with those amazing producers.

The first one: Mr. Dick Wolf aka the father of the "Law and Order" franchise who came here to present his new show "Chicago Fire". A show about firemen, and yes this is the reason of the title of this post because I've met the actors of the cast: Eamonn Walker, David Eigenberg et Charlie Barnett. The three of them gave us some information about the shooting of the show.

The second producer was a woman: Mrs Katie Jacobs. If her name doesn't ring a bell the doctor she produced on TV does: Mr. House M.D.

After the firemen and doctors, I went into a little journey to the Grimm Brothers' country with Bitsie Tulloch and Reggie Lee aka Juliette et le
Sergent Wu of the show "Grimm". We talked about Nick and Juliette's relationship and the possibility of a musical episode.

More soon, stay tuned :)Elodiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12132764721976688176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5579470588858108842.post-20535767611187265592013-06-11T10:14:00.000-07:002013-06-11T10:14:23.593-07:00Jour 3: voyage au coeur du fantastique et rencontres avec des pompiersBonjour à tous;

Only the sound sorry there was a little technical problem so we couldn't film ;( but at least my phone was with me and I could record the interview. Sorry.
And also sorry for my voice, bad accent or even my talking. I know I talk so quickly but only 10 minutes and I was afraid of not having enough time and I was so excited...Well wish it's at least a bit ok for you.

But also the day my feet die. Thanks lovely but deadly high heels shoes.

Couldn't get all my interviews. There were some delays (sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 25!) which changed the schedule a lot. Unfortunately some of my interviews had to be cancelled :( but tried to get as much as i could. Fingers crossed it will be fine tomorrow.

But today was wonderful. First of all i was quite nervous by doing all this today. First interview was with Tracy Spiridakos. It started with a delay of 5 minutes so i needed to have the interview done quickly because i had a round-table just after. So terrible to have 10 minutes granted for an interview and being able to do only 5. But Tracy was awesome. When i told her it was my first professional interview ever, she was sooo nice and so supportive. I felt so much better after. Then followed the beautiful Autumn Reeser who was so funny and so kind. She even asked for our professional cards.

I couldn't go to the Young and the Restless conference because of some delay. Same about my round-table with Jeremy Piven.

But happily i had my interviews with Eric Christian Olsen. Such an adorable guy, really funny. Then THE interview of the day. Mr Sutherland.

I'll post them when i can. Still have to work on the ones for tomorrow. But no worries there will all be there. Don't forget to check our instagram.

The photocalls area is getting ready

This is it. First day for the press activities. On the program today: interviews and round table with french and american actors.

On the list we have: Tracy Spiridakos (Revolution), Autumn Reeser (The OC, Last Resort), Eric Christian Olsen (NCIS Los Angeles) and even Jeremy Piven (Mr.Selfridge) and for the French Frederique Bel (Fais pas ci fais pas ça) et Bernard le Coq (une famille formidable).

But of course THE moment of the day is the interview with Donald Sutherland in the afternoon. A great man of the cinema and TV industry.

Meanwhile, it is time to read again the interviews, to remember a few questions so you won't spend your time with your face down looking for them on the paper and also time to breathe before the big jump.
